Kristina Swift

Kristina Swift has a diverse work experience in the field of data science. Kristina currently works as a Data Scientist at Fetch since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Weber Shandwick from 2019 to 2022, where they served as a Senior Data Scientist, Data Scientist, and Junior Data Scientist. In these roles, they constructed machine learning and statistical models, applied Natural Language Processing techniques, and utilized GIS data for visualizations. Before joining Weber Shandwick, Kristina worked as an Analytics Intern at KRC Research in 2018, where they built regression models, utilized text mining, and analyzed data from public discussion boards. Additionally, they had various roles at the University of San Francisco from 2015 to 2018, including Peer Tutor Assistant Coordinator, Statistics Tutor, and Statistics Department Teaching Assistant. In the former role, they recruited and supervised tutoring staff, collaborated with the leadership team, and developed a staff-training manual. Lastly, they participated in the Data Science Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis in 2017, where they predicted crime hotspots, employed feature engineering, and presented research updates to peers.

Kristina Swift earned their Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics with a minor in Criminal Justice and Sociology from the University of San Francisco. Kristina attended the university from 2014 to 2018.
