Rachel Olchowka

Rachel Olchowka has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Rachel currently holds the position of Chief People Officer and General Counsel at Fetch since June 2022, where they are responsible for overseeing human resources and legal matters. Prior to that, they served as General Counsel at Fetch from October 2021 to June 2022.

Alongside their role at Fetch, Rachel is also a Charter Member at TechGC since October 2021. In November 2021, they became an Executive Member at Chief, a professional network for women leaders.

Rachel's previous experience includes working at TransUnion, where they held multiple roles. From July 2019 to September 2021, they served as a Senior Director and Assistant General Counsel, leading a team and providing strategic input for various business areas such as credit solutions and fraud prevention. Before that, they worked as a Senior Legal Counsel from June 2013 to July 2019, supporting TransUnion's Consumer Interactive business and contributing to the development of new products and services.

Additionally, Rachel has entrepreneurial experience as a Co-Owner of McLaughlin Glazeware, a company specializing in customized gifts, from July 2015 to February 2019.

In the legal field, Rachel has held positions such as Legal & Regulatory Compliance Committee Co-Chair at the Chicago Bar Association - Young Lawyers' Section from June 2014 to June 2015. Rachel also worked as a Litigation Associate at Lindemann Miller Siderius from June 2012 to June 2013 and at Grippo & Elden from January 2010 to April 2012, where they gained experience in various litigation-related services.

Rachel began their legal career as a Litigation Associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, focusing on general litigation matters and intellectual property litigation. Rachel worked at Kirkland & Ellis LLP as a Summer Associate in 2007 and continued as a Litigation Associate from September 2008 to January 2010.

Rachel Olchowka completed their education in a chronological manner. Rachel graduated from New Trier High School in the year 2000. Afterward, they attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Rhetoric and Psychology. In 2004, they began studying at DePaul University College of Law, but later transferred to the University of Chicago in 2006. Rachel completed their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree with honors in 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Rachel Olchowka has obtained two certifications related to the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). In August 2013, they received the FCRA Certification for Data Furnishers and the FCRA Certification for Data Users from the Consumer Data Industry Association.
