Jakub Turbakiewicz

Jakub Turbakiewicz has a diverse work experience in the fields of data engineering and structural engineering. Jakub started their career as a Graduate Engineer at BuroHappold Engineering, where they worked on international and local projects, developing technical and computational solutions. Jakub later served as an Engineer before taking on the role of Structural Engineer, working on projects such as Sinfonia Varsovia, Varso Tower, Am Tacheles, and Spark.

In 2014, Jakub worked as a BIM/TRIRIGA Researcher at Talex S.A., where they created BIM models for both ongoing and completed buildings and tested new BIM technologies. Jakub also gained experience at Skanska during a Summer Internship Program, where they analyzed construction projects and assisted with construction drawings and site supervision.

Additionally, Jakub has been involved in the education sector as an Organizer and Leader of Autodesk Revit exercises at Poznan University of Technology, where they coached students on Building Information Modeling and parametric design.

Most recently, they have worked as a Data Engineer at Algomine, ALTEN Polska, and currently, Fetcherr. Jakub'sresponsibilities in these roles include Python development and data engineering.

Jakub then continued their academic journey at the same university from 2015 to 2016, where they obtained a Magister inżynier (Mgr inż.) degree with a specialization in Structural Engineering.
