Sarah Sorvas is an experienced professional in organizational culture and operations management. Currently serving as the Organizational Culture Project Manager and Executive Assistant at Fetzer Institute since August 2021, Sarah brings expertise in program development and strategic project management. Prior experience includes a role as Chief of Staff & Special Projects Manager at The University of Georgia from January 2016 to July 2021, where responsibilities involved academic program logistics and senior administration liaison work. Sarah also held the position of Director of Operations & Catering at home.made from 2014 to 2016, establishing business practices for a catering company and coordinating events. Earlier in Sarah's career, as General Manager at 5&10 from 2011 to 2014, responsibilities included managing operations, staff training, and community relations initiatives. Sarah is an alumnus of The Art Institute of Washington.

Our work is about helping build the spiritual foundation for a loving world. The Fetzer Institute was founded by American broadcast pioneer John E. Fetzer (1901–1991), who had a keen interest in the relationship between the inner life of spirit and the outer life of service. He established the Institute with the belief that efforts to address the world’s critical issues must go beyond political, social and economic, strategies to address the psychological and spiritual roots of these issues.
