Rudy Crew

Rudy Crew is a distinguished educator and leader in the field of education, currently serving as a Clinical Education Professor at USC Rossier School of Education since January 2022. As an Advisor for the President's Education Policy Council and President of Rudy Crew & Associates, Crew advocates for educational improvements, notably through the "Connected Schools" strategy that aligns school systems with business principles. Crew's experience includes roles as an Educational Consultant at Lyford Cay International School, Board Member at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, President of Medgar Evers College, and CEO of the Oregon Department of Education. As Superintendent of Miami-Dade County Public Schools, Crew significantly enhanced student achievement and earned recognition as a Broad Prize finalist for three consecutive years. Crew holds a Doctorate in Educational Administration and a Master's in Urban Education, both from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, along with a degree from Babson College.
