Martin Krauss

Martin Krauss has extensive experience in the field of statistics and clinical research. Currently serving as President of the Bundesverband Medizinischer Auftragsinstitute e.V. (BVMA) since November 2017, Krauss is also the Managing Director and Co-Founder of FGK Clinical Research GmbH, a position held since October 2002. Prior to this, Krauss was the Managing Director at BZT Biometrisches Zentrum für Therapiestudien GmbH from October 1996 to July 2002, and worked as a Senior Statistician, SAS Programmer, and Project Manager in data management and statistics projects. Additional roles include positions as a Statistician at GSF (now Helmholtz-Zentrum München) and the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) with a focus on epidemiological studies related to lung cancer and passive smoking. Martin Krauss holds a Master of Science in Statistics from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, obtained in 1994.
