Mei Zhang

Mei Zhang is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in communications, program direction, and board governance across various sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director at FGS Global since January 2021, Mei previously held notable positions including Board Member at LIM Advisors (January 2022 - May 2024), and Columnist for the "Ask Mei" section of Week in China from May 2015 to December 2020. As Program Director for the inaugural Fortune Global Sustainability Forum in 2019, Mei facilitated discussions on critical intersections of energy, technology, and sustainability. Mei also contributed to the nonprofit sector as Director of the Board for Teach for China and has a rich background in corporate communications with Goldman Sachs and Citi, along with experience in news production at CNN. Mei holds a Master’s degree in Mass Communications from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor’s degree in International Journalism from the University of International Relations.
