Lawanda Diggs

LaWanda Diggs has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology and cybersecurity. LaWanda has worked in various roles and positions, focusing on different aspects of systems administration, security, and technical support.

Starting from 2012, LaWanda worked as a Tier 1 Tech Support at CRGT/POWTEC, where they managed software, troubleshooted workstations, and implemented active directory for user accounts.

In 2015, they became a Field Service Technician at Celestar Holdings Corporation / Marathon TS, where they managed onsite installation, repair, and maintenance of software and hardware. LaWanda also had excellent communication skills, disseminating information effectively and making clear presentations.

LaWanda joined Hewlett Packard Enterprise in 2016 as a Network Operations Analyst, providing technical support, managing outages, and organizing software and hardware installations.

In 2017, they worked as an Electronics Technician Maintenance II at GENERAL DYNAMIC INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, where they designed, developed, and managed IT security systems. LaWanda also supported Windows desktops, users, and utilized VMware for application compatibility.

LaWanda joined Valiant Integrated Services in 2019 as a System Administrator, performing various systems administration tasks, including ACAS scan reviews, log audits, and general system maintenance. LaWanda was also responsible for the administration and configuration of SQL and IIS Server Databases.

In 2020, LaWanda started working at FGS, LLC as an Information Systems Security Officer, specializing in cybersecurity for the Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance. Their responsibilities included maintaining system accreditation, developing security documentation, supporting RMF continuous monitoring, and resolving POA&M deficiencies.

Overall, LaWanda Diggs has accumulated significant experience in information technology, cybersecurity, systems administration, technical support, and hardware/software installation and maintenance.

LaWanda Diggs obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems from Saint Augustine's University, which they attended from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they attended Southampton High School from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including the VMware Certified Associate - Digital Business Transformation from VMware in January 2019, the CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) from CompTIA in April 2019, and the Security+ certification from CompTIA in December 2013.
