Randy Rinehart

Randy Rinehart has over 20 years of work experience in various technology and security roles. Most recently, they have been working at Cribl as a Principal Product Security Engineer since 2022. Prior to that, Randy held positions at Salesforce, where they served as a Lead Acquisition Product Security Engineer and a Senior Acquisition Product Security Engineer from 2020 to 2022. Randy also worked at Paylocity as a Senior Ethical Hacker from 2015 to 2020. Before that, they held roles at RSM US LLP as a Security Engineer and Enterprise Architect from 2010 to 2015, Dell Services Federal Government as a Software Architect from 2010 to 2010, Levi, Ray & Shoup, Inc. (LRS) as an Application Development Consultant from 2007 to 2010, pii as a Web Developer II from 2006 to 2007, LinguiSystems as a Webmaster from 2005 to 2006, and TownNews.com as an Internet Programmer from 2001 to 2005.

Randy Rinehart holds a Master of Science degree in Information Technology Management from St. Ambrose University, which they obtained from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Board of Trustees (Information Management/Computer Science) from Western Illinois University from 2006 to 2010. Randy also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from St. Ambrose University, which they completed from 2003 to 2005. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including the Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (CISSP-ISSAP) from (ISC)² in 2023, the Level 2: Cribl Certified Observability Engineer (CCOE) Admin from Cribl in 2023, and the Level 1: Cribl Certified Observability Engineer (CCOE) User from Cribl in 2023.
