Coy D. Isaacs

Director, Crisis Response at FHI 360

Coy Isaacs leads FHI 360’s crisis response efforts, directing complex emergency operations in Africa, Asia, the Middle East and South America. His global team of experts respond to humanitarian needs in both fragile and development contexts and build capacity widely across FHI 360’s regional and country offices.

Isaacs is skilled in diplomatic relationship management and has a strong record liaising and negotiating with multiple stakeholders, including foreign federal and local governments, local communities, implementing partners and international agencies. He has extensive service delivery expertise with the United States Government, including the Bureau for Humanitarian Affairs, the Department of State, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Millennium Challenge Corporation and the Department of Defense. He also has experience working with United Nations humanitarian agencies, the Government of the United Kingdom, the European Commission and the World Bank.

Prior to joining FHI 360, Isaacs served in director positions for humanitarian organizations such as Volunteers for Economic Growth Alliance, International Medical Corps, Winrock International and the International Organization for Migration. His field experience spans numerous countries, including working as Chief of Party for a U.S. Agency for International Development project in Uganda and directing service delivery work in Albania, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Kosovo, Republic of Sudan, Somalia and South Sudan.

Isaacs has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from North Carolina State University.
