Senior Project Manager/community Engagement at FHI Studio

Stephanie Brooks has a diverse work experience in project management, community engagement, public involvement, and communications. Stephanie started their career in 2000 as an Urban Planning Studio Manager at Hunter College and later worked as a Public Involvement Specialist at Howard/Stein-Hudson. In 2003, Stephanie joined Michael Baker International as a Public Involvement/Communications Manager, where they handled internal and external communications for various public and private agencies nationwide. During their time at FHI Studio, starting in 2017, Stephanie worked as a Project Manager/Community Engagement specialist, focusing on supporting diverse public interests and utilizing in-person and virtual communication tools. In 2020, they also became a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) at Yoga Alliance. Overall, Stephanie's work experience showcases their skills in project management, community engagement, communications, and public involvement.

Stephanie Brooks has a Master's Degree in Urban Planning from Hunter College and a Bachelor's Degree in English from Vassar College. Stephanie has also studied Secondary Education and Teaching at the University of Galway. In addition to their formal education, Stephanie has obtained certifications as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) from Yoga Alliance in January 2020, and in Graphic Design and Composition from Sessions School of Design in 2008.
