Ali Loveys

Ali Loveys, MD, FAAP, FHIMSS, ABP-CI has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Ali began their career as a Partner at Pediatrics @ the Basin, where they worked from 2002 to 2018. During this time, they also served as a Senior Advisor at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP, providing health information technology and clinical advisory support.

In 2010, Ali joined the Regional Extension Center NY as a Regional Extension Center, where they worked until 2017. Ali also served as an Advisor at the Child Health Informatics Center from 2010 to 2015.

Ali's expertise also extends to the digital health sector. Ali worked as the Managing Director Federal Practice Digital Health and US Healthcare Blockchain Leader at EY from 2018 to 2020, where they focused on advancing digital health enablement and driving operational efficiency. Ali was also a member of the advisory board at ConsenSys Health from 2020 to 2022.

Ali's experience in health information technology innovation includes their role as a CMIO at IT Practice Consulting Corp from 2004 to the present. Ali has led various projects to optimize and implement new technologies in medical settings, focusing on improving provider and patient engagement, technology optimization, and reporting for population health.

In 2013, Ali joined Health-e-Pay as a CMIO, where they worked to maximize patient payments and improve accounts receivable efficiency. Most recently, Ali worked as the Operations Support for the Finger Lakes Regional Vaccine Hub from 2021 to 2022, where they provided support for COVID-19 immunizations.

Currently, Ali is the Managing Director Healthcare at FI Consulting, where they focus on optimizing data-driven organizations and converting data into valuable insights using advanced analytics techniques.

Ali Loveys, MD, FAAP, FHIMSS, ABP-CI has a comprehensive education history. In 1986, they obtained their MD degree in Informatics from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology at the University of Rochester in 1983. In 2023, Ali Loveys achieved certification as a Neo4j Certified Professional in Informatics from the Neo4j Graph Academy. Ali is also a Clinical Informatics Board Certified professional accredited by the American Board of Medical Specialties.
