Michaela Reilly is a Senior Policy Officer at Fianna Fáil since January 2023, previously serving as a Policy Advisor at the Permanent Mission of Ireland to the United Nations, where responsibilities included advisory roles for the 77th session of the UN General Assembly focused on human rights and humanitarian issues. Prior experience includes a role as a Policy and Research Executive at the Mental Health Commission, leading the development of codes of practice relevant to the Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) Act 2015, and conducting research and policy drafting at Chambers Ireland across diverse areas such as trade and sustainability. Michaela has also contributed to various organizations, including the Standards in Public Office Commission and the Kilkenny Arts Festival, and has engaged in education related to international public policy and public relations at notable institutions. Michaela holds an MSc in International Public Policy and Diplomacy from University College Cork, a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Relations from the Fitzwilliam Institute, and a BA in European Studies and French from University College Cork.
