Piccolo Ocampo, M.A. has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of marketing, communications, and sports. Starting in 2010, they held various roles in organizations such as the Los Angeles Clippers, NBA, and Pacific-10 Conference, where they gained experience in communications and media relations. In 2012, they joined Canucks Sports & Entertainment as a Client Service Representative, responsible for ticket sales and customer service. From 2014 to 2015, they served as the Communications & New Media Coordinator at Canada West Universities Athletic Association, focusing on press material and web content. In 2015, they joined Vancouver Whitecaps FC as a Communications specialist, where they were involved in media relations, content development, and community relations. Piccolo also worked as a Creative Content Contributor at FIBA in 2020 and currently holds a role in Marketing & Communications at BC Place since 2021. Throughout their career, Piccolo Ocampo has demonstrated strong skills in writing, editing, social media, and PR.
Piccolo Ocampo, M.A. began their education in 2000, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Engineering from Ateneo de Manila University. Piccolo attended this institution for four years, completing their undergraduate studies in 2004. Following this, Piccolo pursued their passion in Kinesiology and Sport Management at California State University, Long Beach. Beginning in 2009 and concluding in 2011, they successfully completed a Master's degree in Kinesiology, with a specialization in the field of Sport Management.
