Kapil P. has a diverse and extensive work experience. Kapil π began their career as a Cadet Warrant Officer in the Indian Air Force and gained valuable training and interactions with commanding officers. After their military service, Kapil co-founded Knowmad, a platform aimed at replacing college campus magazines with an online platform for accessing localized content. Kapil π successfully raised funding for research and development and was recognized as an innovative start-up by the Science & Technology Park.
Kapil also worked as a Startup Evangelist at Savitribai Phule Pune University, where they built a startup community network and contributed to the growth of the Department of Technology. Kapil π was directly supported by the Vice-Chancellor and Dean of Technology.
In their role as a Strategic Alliance Manager and later as a Growth Hacker at Fibe.India, Kapil identified new market opportunities and conducted market research to drive product development. Kapil π successfully ventured into new market segments and fueled the growth of the BNPL product line.
Kapil's experience in product management includes working as a Product Manager at Recruit CRM, where they collaborated with cross-functional teams and owned the product roadmap. Kapil π also actively engaged in upskilling activities to enhance their product management skills.
Furthermore, Kapil has been actively involved in various volunteer roles. Kapil π served as the Head of Product Evangelism at People of Product and as a founding team member and volunteer at Swachh Pune, a cleanliness and awareness initiative. Through Swachh Pune, Kapil organized numerous cleanliness and beautification drives, engaged thousands of volunteers, and received recognition from leading publications.
Additionally, Kapil participated in renowned programs such as Y Combinator's Startup School, where they successfully graduated and became a program participant. Kapil π also served as a Group Moderator for the Startup Founder's Group.

Kapil P. completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Zoology/Animal Biology from Fergusson College, attending from 2011 to 2014. Kapil π later pursued a Postgraduate Degree in Product Management from Pragmatic Leaders (YC W21), studying from 2021 to 2022.
