Axel Weiler has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Axel currently serves as the Group CFO at FiberLean Technologies since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Head of Corporate Development/ M&A at Wilh. Werhahn KG from January 2019 to May 2022. Before that, they were a Partner at EY-Parthenon from September 2016 to December 2018.

Axel began their professional journey as a Bankkaufmann/ Finanzassistent at Deutsche Bank, completing specialized training in areas such as insurance, tax, legal, and real estate from August 1990 to June 1992.

Axel Weiler has an extensive education history. Axel obtained their A-level or Abitur degree, majoring in Mathematics, Physics, English, and History, from Gymnasium Plochingen in 1990. Axel then enrolled at Technische Universität Darmstadt and pursued a degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from 1992 to 1995.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Axel attended Technische Universität Berlin from 1995 to 1998. During this period, they obtained a degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, known as Dipl.-Ing. Additionally, in 1997, they spent a brief period at University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, where they focused on Marketing and Accounting.

To further enhance their knowledge, Axel pursued a PhD at Technische Universität Chemnitz from 2003 to 2004. Their research focused on Strategic Company Valuation, and they earned the degree of PhD, Dr.rer.pol.
