Elena Boroda

Elena Boroda has a wide range of work experience. In 2021, they are the Marketing Lead at Fiberplane, where they are running marketing activities geared at hitting product-market fit. In 2020, they were the Founder of Tech Astra, where they enabled 1,000 young people and successfully recruited 15 seasoned software engineers as mentors. In 2019, they were the Chief of Staff to the CEO and Chairman at Axel Springer SE, where they communicated strategically with external and internal stakeholders and coordinated events like the WELT European Summit. In 2017, they were a Cross-Media Journalist at Funke Mediengruppe GmbH & Co. KGaA, where they delivered and published more than 220 articles and generated peak views for respective newsrooms with their own stories. Also in 2017, they were the Co-Founder, Product Development, and Branding at In.Genio, where they developed an MVP for a platform matching businesses and graduates with technical knowledge in shortage. From 2013-2017, they were a Freelance Journalist - Contributor at Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, where they conducted interviews with EU Commissioner, EU parliamentarians and German politicians, edited content in real time at events, and reported on German media coverage of immigration. In 2013, they were a Schuman Trainee at the European Parliament.

Elena Boroda has a Master in European Interdisciplinary Studies from the College of Europe in Natolin, with a focus on Law, Business and Politics. Elena also holds a Law (German Legal State Exam) and Business Administration from the University of M\u00fcnster, with a focus on European Law and Business Law.
