Jo Van der Auwera has co-founded FibriCheck in 2014, where they served as the Chief Compliance Officer. Jo is currently a co-founder at Extra Horizon, starting in 2022.
Jo Van der Auwera obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biomedical Sciences with a specialization in Bioelectronics and Nanotechnology from UHasselt. Additionally, they have received certifications including Internal Auditor Medical Device from SGS Belgium Nv in March 2018, and Research Assistant in Laboratory Animal Sciences (European level FELASA B) and Experiment Leader in Laboratory Animal Sciences (European level FELASA C) from Hasselt University in 2013.
