Léon Schiffers

Léon Schiffers has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2023, they joined FibriCheck as a Quality Engineer. Prior to that, from 2020 to 2023, they worked at Medtronic, starting as a Supplier Quality Engineer and later transitioning to the role of Clinical Quality Specialist. Before Medtronic, Léon worked for Van Geloven, where they held multiple positions including Project Leader for Product Relocation and Value Engineering, as well as a role in Product Development. Léon also had a brief student job at VDC Consulting bvba - Quasydoc in 2015. In 2014, Léon completed an internship and worked as a student at Yoko Cheese (FrieslandCampina). Léon'searlier experiences include a short-term role as a Production Operator at Levenstond Seafood BVBA in 2011, and as a Cook at Gasthof Blanckthys from 2010 to 2011. Léon also had a period of self-employment as an owner of Café Léon from 2008 to 2009.

Léon Schiffers completed their secondary education at Ter duinen from 2003 to 2007, earning a degree in Hotel- or Tourism Management / Hotel Operations Management / Hotel/Motel- and Restaurant Management. Léon then went on to pursue further studies at Hogeschool PXL from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Professionele Bachelor degree in Agro- en Biotechnologie. In July 2019, Léon acquired additional certification in Product Development & Ingredients from HAS Hogeschool. Léon also holds a Bachelor's degree in Agro-en Biotechnologie from Hogeschool PXL, which they obtained in June 2015.
