William Newsome

William Newsome is currently serving as the President & CEO at Fibrocor Therapeutics, where William is responsible for executing funding and program progression through clinical trials. William also serves as a Non-Executive Board Director at the company. With over a decade of experience at Evotec, William has held various leadership positions, including Senior Vice President and US Head of Strategic Alliance and Partnership Management. Prior to their tenure at Evotec, William held roles at DiscoveRx Corp, Molecular Devices, Stratagene, and Pfizer Pharmaceuticals. William holds a Master of Arts degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Brown University.
