Dr. Swati Gondane M.D.

Dr. Swati Gondane, MD has extensive experience in the medical field, particularly in drug safety and patient safety roles. Dr. Swati currently holds the position of Senior Medical Director/Global Patient Safety Lead at FibroGen, Inc. since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at TG Therapeutics, Inc. from September 2020 to April 2022 in a similar role.

Dr. Gondane also gained experience as a Drug Safety Consultant at Genentech from July 2019 to August 2020. Dr. Swati previously served as a Drug Safety Consultant (Medical Reviewer) at Johnson & Johnson from February 2017 to July 2019.

Before transitioning into pharmaceutical companies, Dr. Gondane worked as a Drug Safety Physician at Avanti Life Sciences Limited from September 2012 to August 2015. Dr. Swati began their career as a General Physician at Samyak Multispecialty Hospital in Nagpur from April 2010 to July 2012.

Dr. Swati Gondane, MD has a diverse education history in the medical field. Dr. Swati completed their Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Dermatopathology Residency Program at Jawahar lal nehru medical college. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Government medical college nagpur. Dr. Swati also pursued a Dermatology fellowship at Wake Forest University. In addition to their formal education, Dr. Gondane has also obtained several certifications. Dr. Swati has certificates in various topics such as the evaluation and management of pediatric diarrhea from Johns Hopkins Medicine, the management of Clostridium difficile and hepatitis C from Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, and the future implications of HIV management from Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System.
