Manjunath Akki

Manjunath Akki is a seasoned professional in the field of quality assurance and management, with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Executive Director, Head of GMP Quality at FibroGen, Inc. since January 2015, Manjunath has held various leadership roles within the organization, including Executive Director CMC Quality, Senior Director Quality Assurance, and Director of Quality Assurance. Prior to joining FibroGen, Manjunath worked at Pii (Pharmaceutics International, Inc.) from October 2006 to December 2014, where responsibilities included Associate Director - QA Operations and Senior Manager, QA Operations. Earlier experience includes a senior role at Cipla as Head Quality Assurance for Formulation from November 1998 to September 2006. Manjunath holds a Master of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, obtained between 1996 and 1998.
