Alan Wilson

Alan Wilson is the current VP of Global Professional Services at FICO. Prior to joining FICO, they served as the VP of Enterprise Services IT Outsourcing (ITO) at HP from June 2009 to April 2015. In this role, Alan was responsible for championing business growth by utilizing their cloud consulting, IT strategy, transformation, and business development expertise. Alan also served as a global transformation services team leader, focused on driving operational excellence and growth to volume and project win rate. Additionally, Alan implemented an operations framework and dictated the organization’s cadence to build synergy between the IT practice and service delivery.

During their time at HP, Alan successfully empowered growth of HP’s ITO business, increasing short-term business volume and win rate for long-term projects. Alan also devised a strategy to repurpose experienced delivery staff into a consulting team focused on IT transformation excellence. In addition, Alan accelerated HP consulting revenue to >$1B by aligning business development strategies, leading improvement plans, and streamlining global operations. Furthermore, they improved operational margins by >50% for target accounts and amplified customer retention rates by introducing cloud services transformations as ITO options. Lastly, they crafted and implemented a new operating model that optimized day-to-day processes in partnership with regional teams.

Alan Wilson studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Aberdeen, where they earned a Bachelors of Science with Honors in Engineering. Alan then went on to study Electrostatic Engineering at the University of Aberdeen, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in the field.

Alan Wilson reports to Claus Moldt, EVP, CTO. They work with Ben Nelson - CISO, Jari Koister - VP, and Scott Zoldi - VP, Chief Analytics Officer.
