VP, Technical Architecture at FICO

Daryl Huff is currently the VP of Technical Architecture at FICO. Daryl has been with the company since May of 2012 and has held the position of VP, Chief Architect since December of 2021. In this role, Daryl leads global teams of senior architects and scientists in innovating FICOs product portfolio, including Decisioning/Rules, Fraud, Compliance, Originations, Collections and Recovery, Model Management, and others. Daryl also partners with product teams in defining, incubating, creating, and executing new technology products and processes.

Daryl is also responsible for evangelizing open source opportunities and best practices across FICO’s product portfolio. Daryl works with the FICO leadership team and legal department to develop and run FICO’s open source usage policy. This includes working with all teams to ensure open source usage is compliant to its license and properly documented and attributed. Daryl also oversees technologist advancements, including serving as key champion in FICO’s adoption of Amazon Web Services (AWS) as public cloud vendor while driving product portfolio transformation from on-premises only to cloud native SaaS.

Additionally, Daryl directs the User Experience team in transforming products to have consistent, next-generation responsive user interface. Daryl also establishes technology and architecture standards, including developing governance process and chairing the Architecture Review Committee as a fundamental part of FICO’s Software Development Lifecycle.
