Bartholomew Okonkwo

Bartholomew Okonkwo is the current Assistant General Manager & Chief Information Officer at Fidelity Bank. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Information Officer at FSDH Merchant Bank from November 2019 to January 2021. Bartholomew has also held the position of Head IT Governance, Strategy & Architecture at Access Bank Plc from April 2019 to June 2019, and Divisional Head, Enterprise Architecture, Governance & Strategy at Diamond Bank Plc from January 1997 to April 2019. In their role at Diamond Bank Plc, Bartholomew was responsible for the development of the enterprise IT Architecture framework, driving the Enterprise maturity to acceptable level, Governance and change management, policy formulation, standards and compliance. Bartholomew was also responsible for the development of IT strategy in alignment with the Bank's Corporate strategy, IT security and Risk, IT personnel management and IT finance and budgeting.

Bartholomew Okonkwo has an MBA in Management from the University of Lagos, a B.SC in Mathematics/Computer Science from the University of Port Harcourt, and certifications from LinkedIn in Digital Transformation, Implementing Your IT Strategy, and Transformational Leadership. Bartholomew also has a certification from APMG International in COBIT Foundation & Implementation.
