Violeta Dikanovic has a diverse and extensive work experience across various companies and roles.

Violeta started their career in 1992 at the University of Belgrade, where they worked as a Systems Engineer. During their time there, they were involved in information systems development, database design, and systems analysis. Violeta also served as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, specializing in computer science. Their tenure at the university lasted until October 1996.

In 1997, they joined Loblaw Companies as a Data Analyst and remained with the company until 2000.

After leaving Loblaw Companies, Violeta joined Fidelity Canada in 2000 and held several positions within the organization. Violeta started as a Senior Data Architect, then progressed to become the DA Team Lead and Manager of Data Architecture & Information Services. During their time at Fidelity, they also served as the Manager of Business Intelligence and CRM support, Director of Project Management and ISO, and Director of Corporate Business Initiatives. Their role as Director of Corporate Business Initiatives involved managing a dynamic portfolio of initiatives for Fidelity Canada's corporate programs, focusing on addressing the strategic goals of various Canadian business entities.

In 2020, Violeta was promoted to Vice President, Corporate Initiatives, Emerging Technologies, and Data Protection Officer at Fidelity Canada. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President, IS Development and Business Analysis.

Violeta Dikanovic obtained a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Belgrade, where they studied from 1987 to 1992.
