Marc Cagen has extensive work experience in the insurance industry, particularly in actuarial roles. Marc was the Chief Actuary at Fidelity Life since 2010, overseeing actuarial operations. Prior to that, they held the same role at Guarantee Trust Life from 2002 to 2010, where they managed a team of actuaries and was responsible for pricing, rate filings, reserving, and cash flow testing. Marc also served as a Member of the Board of Directors at the Illinois Life and Health Guaranty Association from 2003 to 2010. Marc began their career at CNA Insurance in 1986 and advanced to the position of Assistant Vice President, overseeing financial work related to life, annuity, and separate accounts.
Marc Cagen obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in the period between 1982 and 1986. Following this, they pursued their Master of Management (MBA) degree with a focus on Marketing and Finance at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management from 1990 to 1994.
