Metin Akyol, Ph.D., CFA, is a seasoned quantitative analyst currently employed at Fidelity Investments since July 2022, where investment research across asset classes is conducted. A recognized lead instructor at Northwestern University School of Professional Studies since March 2020, Metin trains new instructors in modern topics such as Machine Learning and Blockchain. Additional roles include part-time curriculum engineer for the FinTech Program at 2U and previous quantitative analyst positions at the State of Wisconsin Investment Board and Zacks Investment Management. Metin's academic background includes teaching at various institutions and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Technology Darmstadt, complemented by a Master's degree from Goethe University Frankfurt.
