Simona Santoro has extensive experience in the financial industry, with a focus on credit and risk management. Simona currently holds the position of Deputy Head of Automotive Financing - Sales Department at Fiditalia, where they oversee the sales department and ensures efficient automotive financing. Prior to this, Simona worked as the Head of Corporate Credit at Fiditalia, where they were responsible for managing corporate credit and assessing the credit standing of the corporate portfolio. Simona was also involved in the implementation and development of Dealers Floorplan for the Italian Market.

Before joining Fiditalia, Simona worked at Volkswagen Financial Services as the Head of Credit & Risk Management of Intensified Problem Loans for the Italian market. In this role, they managed and negotiated restructuring strategies for existing loans and granted new credit facilities for Italian problem accounts. Simona also supervised the credit and risk assessment of these strategies.

Previously, Simona worked at CNH Capital - Fiat Industrial Group as a Credit & Risk Supervisor, where they were involved in restructuring existing loans and granting new credit facilities to European non-performing accounts. Simona also evaluated credit facilities for European strategic accounts and assessed risk and provisions for restructured loans.

Simona began their career at GE Capital Interbanca as a Portfolio Manager & Workout in the real estate and shipping sectors. Simona later worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at Finanziaria Internazionale Holding, where they gained experience in financial analysis. Simona started their career as a Financial Analyst at UniCredit Corporate Banking.

Throughout their career, Simona has demonstrated expertise in credit and risk management, corporate credit evaluation, restructuring strategies, and financial analysis.

Simona Santoro has a Bachelor's Degree in Economics of International Markets and New Technologies from Università Bocconi, which they obtained from 2001 to 2004. Simona then pursued a Master's Degree in Economics and Management of International Markets and New Technologies from the same university, attending from 2004 to 2006. Simona furthered their education by becoming an exchange student at Eindhoven University of Technology in 2005, where they studied Technology Policy as part of their Master's Degree. Later on, from 2016 to 2018, they attended MIP Politecnico di Milano to acquire an Executive MBA.
