Daniel La Nuez has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. Daniel began their career in 2005 as a Tax Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers. In 2007, they joined B.C. Ziegler as a Private Equity Controller, where they were responsible for preparing financial statements, leading the external audit process, and answering questions from clients. From 2011 to 2017, they worked at Northwestern Mutual in various roles, including Assistant Director - Investment Compliance, Expense Management Consultant, and Investment Accounting Consultant. In 2021, they joined Fiduciary Management, Inc. (FMI) as Senior Vice President.
Daniel La Nuez obtained their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting from Marquette University in 2005. Daniel then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In 2005, they also started a Masters in Taxation at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, which they completed in 2006. In 2018, they obtained a Series 24 - General Securities Principal from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority), a Series 28 - FINOP from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority), and a FINRA Series 7 - General Securities Representative from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority). Daniel is also a Certified Public Accountant from the State of Wisconsin Department of Professional Services, and has passed Level I of the Chartered Financial Analyst Exam from the CFA Institute.
