Shannon Jamieson PHR, SHRM-CP has extensive experience in Human Resources. Shannon Jamieson began their career in 2001 as an HR Coordinator at Wiss & Company, LLP, where they assisted the HR Director in personnel matters and acted as the lead Firm Recruiter. In 2007, they became an HR Generalist at Bohler Engineering, where they were responsible for interpreting and explaining company policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with federal and state employment laws. In 2009, they became the SHRM Foundation Chairperson at the Morris County Chapter of SHRM, where they promoted the SHRM Foundation and kept members informed of its progress. In 2013, they became an HR Business Partner at Tangoe, where they provided coaching and guidance to managers and staff. Shannon Jamieson was later promoted to Senior HR Business Partner, where they successfully updated and improved the US based Employee Handbook and transitioned it to an electronic version. In 2016, they joined ADP as a Senior HR Content Developer - SBS, where they researched, developed, edited, and reviewed easily digestible HR-related content and communications. In 2019, they became the HR Manager, Recruitment & Organizational Development at Vanguard Medical Group Primary Care, where they enhanced the organization's overall recruiting program and successfully sourced, screened/interviewed, and hired over 50 top candidates. Shannon Jamieson also founded JamiesonHR Services, LLC, where they help candidates identify their strengths and align their goals to create an overall personal brand. Most recently, in 2020, they became the Director of Human Resources at Income Discovery, a rapidly growing B2B FinTech leader in retirement income optimization. In this role, they advise the CEO and management on all HR-related issues while assessing and anticipating HR-related needs, and manages and develops the HR structure.

Shannon Jamieson received their Bachelor of Arts in History from Rutgers University in 2001. Shannon Jamieson then obtained their Professional in Human Resources Certification from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2010. In June of the same year, they obtained their Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. In November of 2015, they obtained their SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) Certification from SHRM. Finally, in June of 2017, they obtained their PHRca Certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. Jamieson's educational history began at Hackettstown High School.
