Happie Datt

Happie Datt is a seasoned member of various organizations, including the Libertyville Sunrise Rotary Club and the Lake Forest International Club, where leadership roles were held, such as Club President from 2020 to 2022. Datt's commitment to community service is further exemplified through volunteer efforts at The Field Museum as a docent and longstanding participation with the League of Women Voters, including leadership positions from 1995 to 2007. A former board member of the National Indo American Museum, Datt played a pivotal role in promoting Indian American culture. Experience also includes working as a Community Development professional in Makedonski Brod, Macedonia, and serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer, mentoring young women and overseeing financial responsibilities for grant applications. Datt's educational background includes an MBA from Northern Illinois University, an MA in Food Science from the University of Florida, and a BSc in Home Science from Panjab University.
