Kate Webbink

Kate Webbink is an accomplished Information Systems Specialist and Science Media Producer at The Field Museum, where responsibilities include project management for the "Art & Science of Birds" app and production of the "Field Revealed" online series. With experience as a Director/Producer at Magpie Din Productions since 2010, Kate independently creates documentary films focused on scientific research and the philosophy of science. Previous roles include Associate Producer at Reel Siren Films, Presenter and Manager for the Space Public Outreach Team, and Freelance Writer for Montana Audubon. Educational qualifications include a Master of Fine Arts in Science and Natural History Filmmaking from Montana State University-Bozeman, a Master of Science in Behavioral Biology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a minor in Art from Wellesley College.
