James Deutsch

Mr. Deutsch has been a managing partner at Patriot Financial Partners, L.P. (“Patriot”), a private equity firm focused on investing in community banks, thrifts and financial services related companies throughout the United States, since 2012. Prior to 2012, Mr. Deutsch was a commercial banker with his most recent position as founder, President and CEO of Team Capital Bank. In addition to Fieldpoint Private, Mr. Deutsch currently serves on the boards of directors of FirstCapital Bank of Texas, Georgia Banking Company and First National Bank of America. Mr. Deutsch previously served on the boards of Pacific Mercantile Bancorp, Cape Bank, Sterling Bank, Monroe Bank and Trust, Avenue Bank, Los Alamos National Bank, Enterprise Bank and Trust, and Atlantic Community Bankers Bank. He also has served on numerous not-for-profit companies including his current post as past president for the Minsi Trails Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Mr. Deutsch has a B.S. in Finance and a M.B.A. from Lehigh University. Mr. Deutsch has experience in financial services and a perspective as both an investor and operator of banks. He has over 35 years of banking experience and brings a breadth of knowledge to the Board in investment banking, commercial lending and corporate finance.
