VP Analytics/BI at FieldPulse

Ben Read has been working in the analytics and business intelligence field for over 10 years. Ben started their career at Ascend Marketing, where they quickly rose to the position of Principal and Digital Marketing Group Leader. In this role, they were responsible for strategic direction, team building, client strategy, and development of organizational best practices for the company's digital marketing efforts. Ben also led digital branding, user experience consulting, web property development/ management, SEO, SEM, social media strategy, and customer relationship management for Ascend Marketing's clients.

In 2016, Ben left Ascend Marketing to join PollCart as an Advisor. PollCart is a new platform that turns shopping into an authentic social experience. Ben helped PollCart grow their user base and develop their brand identity on social media. Ben was with PollCart until 2021, when they joined FieldPulse as their Vice President of Analytics/BI.

At FieldPulse, Ben is responsible for leading the analytics and business intelligence efforts for the company. Ben oversees a team of data scientists and analysts who work to make sense of the vast amount of data that FieldPulse collects from its customers. Under Ben's leadership, FieldPulse has been able to use data to improve their product offerings and better serve their customers.

In 1998, Ben Read graduated from Austin College with a BA in Media - Communication Arts and Political Science. In 2000, they completed language and culture courses completely in Spanish at Universidad de Salamanca. In 2002, they graduated from Plano Senior High School. In 2003, they received certification from HubSpot in Inbound Certification.
