Prior to that, they earned a Certificate in Permaculture Design from the same institution, attending from 2008 to 2010. Kendra also holds a Bachelor's Degree in International/Global Studies and Theater Arts from Sarah Lawrence College, where they studied from 2004 to 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Kendra has acquired several certifications. Kendra became a LEED AP Interior Design + Construction through the U.S. Green Building Council in December 2019.
