Nick Smart

Nick Smart is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in Canadian equities, currently serving as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Fiera Capital since November 2016. Throughout the tenure at Fiera Capital, Nick has held various leadership roles, including Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager, contributing to the management of Canadian Equity ESG, Ethical, and Fossil Fuel Free mandates. Prior to this, Nick took a career break to travel globally after working as a Senior Investment Analyst at Empire Life Investments, where involvement in both the Canadian and Global Equity Teams was prominent. Educational qualifications include a CFA Charterholder designation and dual Bachelor's degrees in Commerce (Finance) and Arts (Mass Communication) from Carleton University.
