Lauren Nathan LaRusso serves as the Co-Host City Manager and General Counsel for the FIFA World Cup 26 in New York and New Jersey, beginning in April 2023. Prior to this role, Lauren held positions within the Office of the Governor of New Jersey, including Senior Counsel and Associate Counsel in the Governor’s Authorities Unit from January 2018 to April 2023. Lauren's legal career also includes experience as an Associate at Koster, Brady & Nagler, LLP and Tompkins, McGuire, Wachenfeld & Barry, LLP, focusing on civil litigation. Early in the career, Lauren worked as a Law Clerk for U.S. Representative Rush Holt and served as an Outreach Coordinator. Education includes a Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law, a Master of Education from Rutgers University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Douglass College at Rutgers University, specializing in History and Political Science.
