Pamela Dobson

Pamela Dobson serves as the People and Diversity Executive Officer at the University of St Andrews since April 2020, supporting the Vice Principal with the Diverse Action Plan and People Strategy. Previously, Pamela managed the Medical Admissions Team, aligning recruitment and admission processes with university and government objectives. Additional roles include Board Member at Fife College and Apex Scotland, and Panel Member for Children's Hearings Scotland. As a Senior Policy/Analysis Officer at the Scottish Funding Council, Pamela focused on widening access for underrepresented learners. Earlier experiences include serving as Education Liaison Officer and Access Manager at the University of St Andrews, and internships at The Carter Center and GlaxoSmithKline. Educational credentials include an MSc in Psychology from the University of St Andrews, complemented by non-graduating studies in various fields at multiple institutions.
