John Ironside

John Ironside is an experienced Human Resources professional with a diverse background in various industries including cultural, construction, retail, and entertainment. Currently serving as a Human Resources Advisor at Fife Cultural Trust since September 2022, John provides support to managers during workforce changes, policy development, recruitment, and onboarding. Prior to this, John held positions at The McGill Group, where responsibilities included managing apprenticeships, and Tesco, where experiences ranged from team management to acting as a People Partner during a secondment, focusing on team welfare and engagement. With a strong foundation in HR operations developed at Cineworld, including team training and development, John has consistently demonstrated a commitment to enhancing workplace culture and employee well-being. Education includes certifications in Mental Health First Aid and a Level 5 CIPD qualification.
