Gavin Humphrey

Gavin Humphrey, CPA, currently serves as Senior Portfolio Manager at Fifth Third Bank since October 2025. Prior to this role, Gavin held various positions at Deriva Energy, advancing from FP&A Manager to Director of FP&A and Finance Transformation, where responsibilities included leading corporate financial planning and maintaining financial models. At Duke Energy Corporation, Gavin managed a team in accounting and financial planning, successfully building a segment-wide budget of approximately $5 billion. Previously, at NextEra Energy, Inc., Gavin oversaw financial operations for renewable portfolios, while also delivering crucial financial documentation. Gavin's career began at Deloitte, where management of a risk advisory team and development of financial assessment tools were key achievements. Gavin holds a Master’s in Accounting from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and a Bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University, complemented by study abroad experience at Universitat de Barcelona.
