Stephen Salerno

Stephen Salerno is the Senior Vice President of Cyber Threat Interdiction at Fifth Third Bank, a position held since December 2021. Prior to this, Stephen worked at GE from July 2011 to December 2021, where roles included Senior Director of Cyber Platforms and Engineering Leader, Director of Software Engineering, IT Team Leader for Risk Software Solutions, and Information Security Software Engineer. During this time, Stephen led teams focused on developing innovative solutions for cyber threat management, improving IT risk compliance, and ensuring high availability for critical platforms. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Grand Valley State University, earned between 2004 and 2008.
