Mark Dhillon

Mark Dhillon has a diverse work experience, spanning across various roles and companies. Mark is currently working as an Engineering Manager at Fig Tech since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Baxter International Inc. from April 2020 to January 2023, where they held the positions of Manager, Engineering and Senior Principal Engineer. Before joining Baxter, Mark worked at toSense (acquired by Baxter International) as a Senior Research Engineer from March 2015 to April 2020.

In 2013, Mark founded ReviewSage and served as the Founder & CEO until December 2014. Mark received seed funding for developing their Master's project into a business and developed a platform for restaurants to manage their reputation through online content analysis and tablet-based feedback. During their tenure, Mark raised a convertible note, expanded the development team, and acquired paying customers, including FoodFight, the largest restaurant group in Madison.

Mark also has experience working as a DesignLab Consultant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from September 2011 to May 2013.

Earlier in their career, Mark worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Google in 2012, where they were tasked with improving a user feedback tool. Mark created a solution that added the ability to group labels together and set user display preferences.

Mark also worked at Rearden Commerce as a Senior Software Engineer from March 2011 to June 2011, where they worked on the applications team and led implementations for new customer homepage and in-house testing framework, added new functionality to shipping app, and created RESTful layers for platform services. Prior to that, they worked at Rearden Commerce as a Software Engineer from October 2009 to March 2011.

Furthermore, Mark gained early work experience as a Software Engineering Intern at Oracle Inc in 2008.
