Sean Smith

Sean is the Chief Information Security Office at Files.com. He is responsible for the Information Security and Compliance programs. Sean was a Naval Cryptologist riding submarines for 8 years, including being Qualified in Submarines in 1993. He is the president and owner of InterSource Computer Services, Inc, and an instructor for cybersecurity certification classes. Prior to Files.com, he was the Systems Operations Manager, and Consulting Security Engineer for Geriatric Practice Management. Files.com is a nimble organization that does more than pay lip service to security, it’s incorporated into the DNA. Sean wanted the opportunity to lead the effort to mature the security program in support of the organization’s goals and objectives, which is a primary goal of any good security program.
