Ruhaan Shah

Ruhaan Shah is an accomplished film critic with experience writing reviews for Film Companion from February 2020 to July 2024, encompassing various types of media including films, television shows, and documentaries. In addition, Ruhaan served as the Head of Department at Ashoka PPE Society from October 2023 to February 2024, overseeing a research cluster and managing the academic journal. Ruhaan has held multiple teaching assistant positions at Ashoka University, contributing to courses on political theory and democracy, and was the President of the Ashoka University Student Government from February 2021 to August 2021, managing legislative affairs and representing student interests. Previous roles include Project Assistant at the Mahatma Gandhi Labour Institute, where Ruhaan developed a social audit framework, and Resident Editor at Lutalica, managing editorial responsibilities. Currently, Ruhaan is pursuing an MPhil in Political Thought and Intellectual History at the University of Cambridge, following a P.G. Diploma in Political Science from Ashoka University.
