Nate Bell is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in film criticism, academia, and internship management. Currently serving as the Internship Manager at Biola University School of Cinema and Media Arts since May 2019, Nate oversees outreach and relationship management with various media organizations, facilitating internship placements for students. As a film critic for LA Weekly and The Village Voice, Nate provides insightful reviews and has contributed significantly to film discourse since 2017 and 2021, respectively. Prior teaching roles include Senior Adjunct Professor at Azusa Pacific University and Adjunct Instructor positions at multiple institutions, contributing to cinema education. Nate holds an M.A. in Film Studies and a B.A. in Cinema and Media Arts from Chapman University and Biola University, respectively.
