Iresh Karunarathna

Iresh Karunarathna is a highly experienced professional in the film production industry, currently serving as the Founder of Black Munkeey Films since January 2019. Iresh also holds the roles of Creative Producer and Line Producer at Film Production Services, with a notable track record of local and foreign-based productions, including over 300 Sri Lankan TV commercials and more than 150 foreign commercials. Previous experience includes positions as an Assistant Director and Assistant Production Manager in over 400 productions, as well as Agency Producer at BBDO Worldwide and Associate Creative Director at Avenire Creation, contributing to projects for prominent brands. Iresh's educational qualifications include an MSc in Digital Marketing from Asia e University and a High Diploma from BCS Sri Lanka Region.
