Derek Logan has a diverse work experience in various roles. Derek is currently working as a Manager, Streaming Channel Partnerships at Filmhub, where they oversee the licensing of films, series, and shorts to streaming channels such as Amazon Prime Video and Roku.
Prior to this, Derek worked as an Account Executive at Thumbtack from November 2020 to December 2021, where they handled client accounts.
Before Thumbtack, Derek worked at Crucial Learning from January 2020 to July 2020. Initially, they served as an Account Executive, where they generated leads through self prospecting and implemented marketing strategies to attract potential clients. Later, they took on the role of Senior Business Development, leading a team and developing messaging for internal and external audiences. Prior to that, they worked as a Sales Development Specialist, building relationships with HR, OD, and L&D professionals, and implementing business development initiatives.
In 2017, Derek briefly worked as a Sales Development Representative at Weave HQ, where they were responsible for finding business opportunities and managing customer relationships.
From 2015 to 2017, Derek had a dual role at Fidelity Investments. Derek first served as a College Planning Specialist, assisting clients with their 529 assets and educating them about investment options. Subsequently, they worked as a Full Trader, handling various personal accounts and conducting equity trades.
Derek's earlier experience includes working as a Digital Customer Representative at 1-800 CONTACTS from September 2013 to November 2015 and as an Inbound Sales Representative at CLEARLINK from August 2012 to September 2013.
Derek Logan obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from Utah Valley University. Derek attended the university from 2013 to 2018. In addition to their degree, they have also earned several certifications. In 2019, they obtained an Influencer certification from VitalSmarts. In 2018, they obtained a Getting Things Done certification and a Crucial Conversations certification, both from VitalSmarts as well. In 2017, they obtained a Series 63 license and a Series 7 license from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority). It is unknown when and where they obtained their Life & Health Insurance license.
