Sam Barberie

Sam Barberie currently serves as the Head of Strategy and Partnerships at Horizon, a leading development platform for web3 games. Previously, Sam has held significant roles including CEO and Founder of Thresher, and VP of Business Development & Strategy at Quidd, part of Animoca. As an investor in Filta, a marketplace for face filter NFTs, Sam has supported innovative platforms since 2021. Additionally, Sam has provided advisory services at Resolve and led sales and partnerships at Nemedio, a SaaS company for medical device development. Earlier experiences include mentoring at First Round Capital and co-founding Britesiders, a crowdfunding platform that significantly increased funding for causes. Sam's career at Nielsen involved scaling the business and establishing key partnerships in the digital data space. Sam holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from New York University.
