Ciaran Hyland

Ciaran Hyland is a Project Engineer at FILTEC Ltd since December 2023, previously serving as a Process Engineer at Lutra from November 2019 to November 2023, specializing in the drinking water sector with a focus on water treatment plant design, masterplan development, and chemical and energy optimization. Ciaran also managed the in-house software Sim-Plant, facilitating SCADA learning for water and wastewater operator trainees. An engineering intern at Lutra in early 2019, Ciaran conducted audits of wastewater treatment plants in New Zealand during the final year of a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Chemical and Process Engineering from the University of Canterbury, earned in 2019. Additionally, Ciaran gained early experience as an intern at Garage Project, assisting in packaging and brewing processes.
